Delicious food right on Germany's largest market square! In addition to the delicious food, there is also a lot of Black Forest specialties to buy. You sit on comfortable sofas and are served by very friendly staff. In addition to the lunch menu, there is also a large selection on the menu, tarte flambée, snack boards and much more. After the meal you can digest with coffee or a Black Forest schnapps, or you can eat a cake for dessert :) You can park directly under the market square.

1.30pm on a Thursday and the store is full! Simply speaks for its quality. Once again super tasty, fast and friendly service. A little tip: Speckwirt's Pfännle is simply the best.

Solid food at reasonable prices. Polish service overwhelmed. No idea what kind of beer the Swabians drink, couldn't recommend anything to me as a vacationer. A pity

Quite a let down. I ordered a lasagna, quite a simple dish, but it had no taste. I could’ve made this myself at home and paid far less.

We were eating there last weekend. The food was good only the waitress was bad The waiter never came to take the order when we had ordered the food came a waitress and threw us the cutlery on the table it was clear that I hadn't given a tip I was so happy that it was a nice restaurant with good food

We stopped in Freudenstadt on our way to Lake Constance via the Black Forest High Road and ended up looking for lunch at the Speckwirt. We could sit outside, were served very nicely and quickly and the food was great too. We had Leberkäs and Maultaschen, both highly recommended. In general, the hearty cuisine, which I like. What I find kind of funny is the Speckwirt logo. Reminds me more of a barber. Next time Freudenstadt will be back!

A very nice place to eat comfortably. The service is very nice, the food tastes sensational and the price is right. The shop is easy to find, right on the market square on Murgtalstrasse.

Were there to eat with our visit. As always, there was a lot and it took a while to order. The service was very friendly and the food was very good. The price-performance ratio fits very well. In addition, the view of the illuminated town church is very romantic. We can highly recommend it.

The restaurant right on the market square of Freudenstadt. Very busy and popular apparently. We came, sat and left again, because shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Friday evening there was no more food or was offered. There's nothing more to say about it.

Food was just way too greasy. Unfortunately, the whole fried potatoes were as greasy as the pan / plate. Fried potatoes must be fried crispy. Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the good reviews here.

The food is ok, but really very greasy (see picture). Portions are decent. Service is not friendly, it takes a long time for the food or the bill to arrive.

After a little order difficulty (very full for 2 conditions) the food came very quickly. Tasted delicious (we had spaetzle with and without bacon) and the waitresses, an elderly man and a lady, were very nice.

Everything is just right here and I am very satisfied! You will be served very quickly, the food and drinks are within 5-10 minutes despite the high number of guests, food lovingly decorated and prepared, so delicious that I had to order a portion of spaetzle and Maultaschen again! Very good wines and spirits! I would love to come back and recommend! Unfortunately, only the main street bothers something and the chairs are unfortunately a bit uncomfortable, but the great food makes this forget quickly!

Nice place on a terrace overlooking an interesting square with beautiful buildings. The food is good, plentiful and not too expensive. Parking is free for the first hour
